The Council

The Council is, alongside with the Convention and the President, a statute-based body of the Court.

The Council is composed of seven members: President, two Vice Presidents, Secretary, and members elected by the Convention of Arbitrators.

The competences of the Council are:
1. administering the budget of the Court, including adoption of annual budget estimates,
2. adopting and amending the Arbitrators’ Fees Regulations,
3. drafting annual reports on the Court’s operations to be submitted to the Board of the Polish Olympic Committee;
4. approving publication of rulings of the Court concerning legal issues relevant for the practice of law,
5. acting as personal data controller of the data processed by the Court,
6. examining legal remedies against rulings of the President and the Secretary in cases indicated in the Statue of the Court.

The Council guarantees the autonomy and independence of the Court, particularly in the scope of its judicature. In order to achieve this goal, the Council passes relevant resolutions and guidelines.

The Council of the Court for the term 2024-2027 consists of:

Vice-president of the Court – adw. Maciej Łaszczuk,
Vice-president of the Court – prof. dr hab. adw. Jarosław Majewski,
Secretary of the Court – adwokat Piotr R. Graczyk,
Member of the Council – radca prawny Tomasz Konczewski,
Member of the Council – radca prawny Anna Grzegółka, spokesperson,
Member of the Council – prof. dr hab. adw. Piotr Girdwoyń.
